Description
The poster is showing some signs of distress and I have left some but the map section is fine. Given the size of the blocks, one to six acres, this is an early auction. The development runs south from Toorak Road down the western side of Glen Iris Road and extends one block west to the eastern side of Milton Street (now Hillside Parade). There were three streets that ran east/west through the development, Spencer Street which would have been 60 metres south of Toorak Road – there is not sign of Spencer today. Wordsworth Street which would be about where Van Ness Avenue is to day and Byron Street (now Valley Parade).
