Description
A truly massive development of 154 acres and 631 lots. I found an article from August 1936 which referred to the development which said that it was subdivided “some little time ago”. So may be 1934. There was another article from 1940 which said that prices had gone back to 1920 levels. The subdivision is bounded in the east by the eastern side of Summerhill Road from the northern side of Adrian Street to the northern side of Baker Parade (now Yuile Street) then east to Bertram, Alonso, Citrus and Nerissa. Other streets covered include Brandon, Celia, Florizel, Audrey, Ariel, Bona, Osric and Hortense.
