Description
A colourful poster for this sale of 28 allotments in Warburton in 1886. Mr John Croom has subdivided his land which was in the centre of Warburton. It seems five blocks may have sold on the day for a total of £97. In May 1887 there were reports of 3 blocks on the Main Road selling for £65. There appears to have been a further subdivion, probably around 1900 when the railway went through. The blocks on the south side of Croom Street seem about the same size.
