Description
There are 112 allotment for sale running north from Toorak Road between Bowen and Stewart (now Rowell Avenue) Streets and ending at Hollis ( Nettleton Avenue). The auctioneer has recorded the sale of each block but in code. I could have guessed that N was a 6 – for six pence but he blew it on lots 84 and 90 and wrote down the actual price 24/6 (UK/N) per frontage foot.
