Description
Three days prior to the auction “The Argus” reprinted an article from “The Times” dealing with “The Melbourne Land Boom”. How it affected this auction is hard to say but the only street names that remain are Wattle Valley and Riversdale. Goldsmith, Tennyson and Moore seem to have disappeared and it is hard to see if they ever managed to appear on the ground. Maybe Mr. Molony kept his paddock for another time.
